Blah A collage featuring my Dad as a 2yr old snapping his fingers surrounded by his beloved radio paraphernalia, an old style radio, a retro Microphone and the logo of his fave station growing up in Sydney in the 60s/70s !
I love the old style feel with the greys against those vivid
blues and i'll never forget the teary reaction it caused in Dad when he first saw it. Truly Magical!

Blah After 25yrs on this planet, I FINALLY sat and watched 'Gone With The Wind'. What an incredible film! Just had to do a piece!!
This is by far the biggest and most beautiful piece I have attempted so far and I really love it! I went with the blues over greys, because I thought they would give the piece more depth and reflect the somberness of the movie a lil. Or it could be because I knew I had a large stash of blues

Blah So on the back of the popularity of my Bella & Edward piece and after seeing 'New Moon'..

I thought a Jacob piece was in order! I was going to go down the shirtless, buff, drool path and choose a shot depicting his err best features (all the ladies, and some of the blokes, ya'll with me -_^?!) But unfortunately I didn't have enough wool - but I reckon he looks pretty fab here anyway

I love all four and will probably crochet all of them at some point, but purely based on the 'cuteness' factor - it's John circa. Hard Days Night era for me I've tried a lil summin summin different with the colouring on this piece and I FRIGGING LOVE IT!!

Blah Mr. Potter version 2.0! Those who have been following my progress on the Hogwarts Bunch Blanket will know what i'm on about, but for those who don't this is the new ang greatly improved Harry panel for the Hogwarts blankie! With a bunch more shading added, the chosen one measures in at approx. 66x50cms. I loved watching this one come to life! I still have no idea why I chose a hot pink background for him but what the frig! I'm 'n it!

I've been in with the Monkees since forever and thanks to my Ipod randomly popping up with them more frequently than usual, i've decided to pay hommage in the way of a Monkees pop art style 4-block blanket
Davy is the first cab off the rank and is also my first attempt at a piece made up of pinks! I'm so chuffed with how he turned out! I especially love the pink shading down the left side of his hair

Blah So in trying to keep with the 'fun' side of things - I decided to go with young Tom Riddle as opposed to a snake-nostril-flaring scary arse version of adult Voldy. I love this shot and to be honest, I reckon it's freakier than old Voldy. There's something disturbing about a kid looking so damn miserable, but it certainly gets the whole 'evil-from-the-start' thing across!

I loved watching Fred come to life in a sea of blues. This shot is taken from the most brilliant 20mins of rock seen on the world's stage at Live Aid in 1985. R.I.P Freddie <3
